Relevant Opportunities. Tangible Commercial Progress.

These selected projects  illustrate the experience behind Lead to Deal’s approach today.

They show how opportunity qualification, partner selection and commercial facilitation can contribute to different outcomes—from a relevant proposal or engineering agreement to a supply contract.

SCRUBBER SYSTEM — EASTERN EUROPE

Supporting a Scrubber Contract for a Battery-Materials Facility

Partner: European scrubber manufacturer
Sector: Battery materials
Contribution: Opportunity qualification and commercial facilitation
Outcome: Supply contract awarded

The Requirement

The Contribution

The Result

A new battery-materials facility needed a scrubber system to meet demanding environmental
performance and continuous-operation requirements. The inquiry involved strict delivery
conditions and detailed technical and commercial discussions.

The opportunity was identified through professional relationships and assessed against the
manufacturer’s capabilities.
Following the introduction, support focused on clarifying performance requirements and
coordinating discussions around payment milestones, delivery schedules, guarantees and
commercial risk.

The manufacturer secured the supply contract, with agreed milestones, responsibilities and
commercial conditions providing the basis for project execution.

Volatile Organic Compounds Reduction : Spain

Developing a VOC Treatment RFQ for a Resin Manufacturer

Client: Resin manufacturer in Spain
Application: Gas treatment with multiple emission sources

Contribution: Measurement support, technology benchmarking and RFQ development
Outcome: FQ developed, with participation from the selected supplier.

The Requirement

The Contribution

The Result

A resin manufacturer requested support to develop a gas treatment solution for several
emission sources.
The project required a clearer understanding of the gas streams, an assessment of suitable
treatment technologies and a defined scope for supplier proposals.

Our partners executed the gas measurement campaign to help characterize the emissions and
establish the basis for technology assessment.
An engineering company helped compare treatment alternatives through a technology
benchmark and supported the development of the RFQ, translating the available information
into requirements for a potential supplier.
A suitable technology provider was selected and participated in the RFQ process.

The client progressed from an initial treatment need to a structured RFQ informed by gas
measurements and technology comparison.
The selected supplier participated on the basis of a better-defined requirement, providing a
clearer starting point for proposal development.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING — NORTH AFRICA

Connecting an Industrial Requirement with an Engineering Partner

Partner: European environmental engineering company
Application: Air and odor treatment
Contribution: Engineering partner selection and requirement alignment
Outcome: Two consecutive engineering agreements

The Requirement

The Contribution

The Result

An industrial operator needed specialist support to define an air and odor treatment solution and
establish the technical basis for a future international tender.

A suitable engineering company was identified and introduced to the client. Initial discussions
helped establish a shared understanding of the environmental objectives and performance
expectations before the engineering work began.

The first agreement covered the definition of a treatment solution. A subsequent conceptual and
basic engineering contract developed the design and specifications for an international tender.
The client obtained an engineering package supporting the next implementation phase.

THERMAL OXIDATION — EUROPEAN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

Opening a Relevant Automotive Opportunity

Partner: Spanish thermal oxidizer manufacturer
Sector: Automotive
Contribution: Opportunity qualification and partner introduction
Outcome: Qualified project discussions

The Requirement

The Contribution

The Result

A thermal oxidizer manufacturer wanted to develop its business while reducing the time spent
on incomplete or poorly matched enquiries.

An air-treatment project at a European automotive plant was identified and assessed for
compatibility with the manufacturer’s technology.
Preliminary requirements, environmental objectives and commercial context were reviewed
before introducing the manufacturer to the relevant client contacts.

The manufacturer entered project discussions with a clearer technical context and access to the
stakeholders involved.
The outcome illustrated here is a qualified opportunity and direct engagement with the client.

TECHNOLOGY PACKAGES — UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Coordinating Specialist Supplier Proposals for an Energy Project

Partner: British engineering company
Sector: Energy infrastructure
Contribution: Supplier identification and proposal coordination
Outcome: Supplier offers prepared for the next project phase

The Requirement

The Contribution

The Result

An engineering company developing an energy plant needed proposals for several specialist
packages before the project was transferred to the appointed EPC (Engineering, procurement
and construction) contractor.
The scope included wastewater treatment, water supply systems, pumps and baghouse
filtration.

Suitable suppliers were identified for the different packages. Communication between
engineering teams and technology providers helped clarify requirements and align the offers
with the project specifications.

The engineering company obtained relevant supplier proposals for consideration during the next phase.

The selected suppliers gained an opportunity to be considered as the project moved toward
execution.
